In our GR pellet mill we have applied solutions that significantly increase the comfort of operators' work and, hence, the speed of reinstatement to work. Machines designed and manufactured by NPT are made of the highest quality, certified materials. They meet EU standards and directives. We have been working in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard since 1996. The system is recertified annually by Dekra Certification

Electronic safety solutions
The electronic voltage disconnector in the overload clutch unit prevents serious damage to the die in the event of blocking the roll-die system by a foreign body or overloading the pelleting unit.
Electronic voltage disconnector on the press body disconnects the power supply when attempting to open the cover of the granulation chamber,
Rear door secured with a key and opening sensors that immediately stop working when disconnected,

Mechanical safety solutions
The design of the assembly of complete rollers
The design of complete rollers in GR series presses prevents from getting stuck and problems with disassembly. Each roll is mounted on a rigid sleeve mounted on the rear roller carrier. Its assembly consists in inserting the roller onto the sleeve and reaching it as far as it will go. Front roller carrier with double support on thickened pins.
Pellet mills GR 550, GR 650, GR 750 and GR 850 can be equipped with a magnetic separator (neodymium magnets) that protect the die and rollers. This magnetic separator in combination with other safety devices installed in the production line guarantees continuous and safe operation of the pellet mill. In the case of low-density raw materials, the separator is not used because it can block the pouring of the pelleting chamber.
Single Belt Tensioning Unit - SBTU
SBTU is a very practical and safe belt tensioning system that protects the pellet mill against possible damage caused by inaccurate or uneven adjustment. All belts of one motor are tensioned by one tensioning bolt, not two. Our solution prevents abnormal belt tension, which extends their service life and shortens the time of retooling the press.
Easy and safe access to the pelleting chamber
The cover of the pelleting chamber opens by more than 170 degrees and allows free operation of up to two or three operators, if necessary. Cover with hinges on the left or right side.
Pellets Quality Probe Chute - PQPC
Immediate, easy-to-use and safe access to fresh and hot pellets is possible through a probe mounted on the lid of the pelleting chamber. It is a special shaped discharge which, after deflecting, releases an appropriate amount of pellets into a container.
Electric Die Hoist - EDH
The EDH unit facilitates exchange of the die and rollers. Its construction allows quick disassembly and assembly of the die and components such as rollers, reinforcing ring and sealing ring. It perfectly complements the Die Free Rotation System (DSMS) and the Quick Die Exchange System (QDES.60).
Automatic Overload Bypass AOBP
The automatic by-pass is mounted on the pellet mill and is activated by a pneumatic actuator in the event of a sudden increase in the load on the main press motors; automation immediately cuts off the feed flow to the pelleting chamber and protects the rollers and die against blocking and unwanted stoppage at work.
