Protection against explosion

NPT puts a lot of emphasis on providing the safest work environment. We use a proven methodology of designing machines, devices and production lines using early detection and extinguishing of sparks. We mark EX zones and recommend appropriate protective systems that suppress and relieve the explosion. We work with the best and optimize solutions combining affordable costs with protection against negative events that can occur in fodder factories or pellet factories: explosion or fire.

Our solutions comply with the EN 16009: 2011 standard. The devices are ATEX certified. We adapt the proposals for the use of particular types of collateral to the capabilities of the given investment and the type of raw material and technology used.

 

Dust explosion classes:ST0: KST = 0

  • ST1: KST = between 1 and 200 bar m/s

  • ST2: KST = between 201 and 300 bar m/s

  • ST3: KST =above 300 bar m/s

 

KST determines the normalized value of explosive dust pressure increase.
